 Soak up as much liquid as possible
 DO NOT SCRUB. This will damage the fibres
Once all excess moisture is removed, the rug can be left to dry. (An electric fan works well.)
If the spill contains a substance that could leave a mark (e.g. coffee, cordial or red wine), add small amounts of clean, warm water and repeat the cleaning process
Small amounts of household detergent can also be added
Use as little water as possible when cleaning your sisal, as natural floor coverings are sensitive to moisture
Make sure your mat is completely dry as quickly as possible
Do NOT use chemicals such as methylated spirits or nail polish remover, as it may bleach or discolour you flooring.
